I don't know about the method of choosing on this one, but thought it was interesting, as The Hermit almost invariably showed up when friends were doing readings for me several years back.

Calicos are my favorite! I used to have 2, but now I just have one. (My other cat's a kick as black kitty)

I love them too, but have never had a calico. I've had a few tortoiseshells (including a blue-cream; they're particularly pretty). Now I have a sort of strange tabby-tortie mixed coat one, a black one, and a black and white non-tuxedo one.

Interesting, I think I can kind of picture that. I had 2 Calicos years ago, but my parents found a new home for them when I came to RU. I now have one Calico and one black cat (George).
