Apr. 9th, 2003 08:10 pmA tip: if someone lets something slip that may sound a bit insecure, don't rush to assure her of how much you like larger women. This may not have quite the effect you want.
Particularly if the person in question has just tried on a new shirt and become queasy at looking like a linebacker with bad implants. (Who were those babydoll t-shirts made for, anyway?) Since there's little way of knowing just when something of the sort may have happened, I suggest avoiding saying that at all.
I am bigger than the person in question, but that's not difficult, and it hardly needs pointing out. Grrr.
