As if confirmation were needed, I just popped across the street to Iceland for five minutes tops, and the delivery man came. At least I thought to leave a note on the door...

Also, rechecking B&Q's page on the air conditioner, I'm glad I went ahead and ordered it; they're now out of stock. From what I could tell comparing prices, it's no wonder.
