I just went to check if my visa application has been assigned a tracking number yet; I've considered the absence of one a not-so-great sign, for some reason. Instead of going through several clicks beyond the main visas page on britainusa.com, I just pulled up the "retrieve saved applications" page.
This time, it bypassed the login entirely, and offered me some Lalin Anik person's incomplete visitor's visa application. This is the second time they've presented me with an application which has not "been submitted using the username that you logged in with." This inspires confidence.
Now, having gone through the main visas page, I see that the tracking number is still listed as "Not yet issued". Ah well.
