ciciaye,
When was the last time you crossed an international border on foot? Never
...in a car? 15 years ago (?) to Canada
...in a bus? Never
...by train? Never
...by boat? Never
...by plane? September 2003/U.K. (would involve a few more along the way)
What is the farthest north you have ever been?
Somewhere in Québec
what is the farthest south you have ever been?
Georgia, US (?)
Have you ever gone the whole way around the world?
No
If not, what is the farthest east you have ever been?
London
...and the farthest west?
Louisville, KY (I think)
Which country would you most like to visit, that you haven't?
This is difficult to narrow down. I'd really like to make up the trip to Ireland and the Highlands I missed; and I'd like to visit Germany, France, and basically the rest of Western Europe, and head further east while I'm at it; visiting Mexico at some point would be nice; I've always wanted to go to India for some reason; going to Jamaica and a couple of other places in the Caribbean would be nice, as would visiting Bali, Australia, and New Zealand. If I had the means to do so, I'd probably spend a good half my time travelling.
Which country would you like to live in for the rest of your life?
I have no idea. I'd like to try living in several, but I'd probably want to come back near where I live now sometimes for a while.
Which country would you like to live in for a year? The U.K., Ireland, Germany or France. (Not so exotic, but I could get some sorely-needed language practice in the latter two places, at least.)
Which country would you like to visit for a week?
Almost anywhere travel is reasonably safe. Longer than a week is almost always better, though.
Which country would you like to visit for a day?
I'd rather stay home; just a day would make me feel cheated.
Which country do you plan to visit next?
Plans are set for another visit to the U.K.; I have no idea after that.
And finally, how many countries have you been to?
Just Canada and the U.K.--very dull. :) Time and money rarely seem to line up.
