(no subject)

The lousy mood of the past few days has been explained. I seem to have caught a stomach bug from the dog. (She showed symptoms a good two days earlier than I did, at any rate. We suspected she'd eaten something not so savory when she got loose and ran around outside, until I got ill too.) After this fall and winter, I wouldn't be too surprised if people started thinking I'm some sort of hypochondriac, or just never healthy.

In other not-too-interesting news, the snow topped by sleet and freezing rain started to melt today (yesterday, at this point), and the street in front of the house looked pretty clear. An apple juice buying expedition may have to be mounted later.
