I just couldn't resist sharing a message I received. Not only did it make me angrier, I couldn't help laughing as I read it. I can only suppose his writing goes further down the drain when he's upset, as I'd never seen it this bad--I even felt a need to post it with less commentary to [livejournal.com profile] grammarpolice. All this after he let something slip about not wanting his housemates to see me, and actually seemed surprised that I went ballistic.

how dare u yell at me for that...do u know how much shit i would have to go threw if people found out about u and me...i don't think people would take it well...i know alot of people and im a respect person

and that really sucked when u called back saying that..that was the dumbest comeback ever

[note: this was something along the lines of "If you're so g-ddamned ashamed, don't bother calling me again," after I'd driven away]

how dare u

What, exactly, is a "respect person"? This certainly doesn't make him sound terribly respectable, nor respectful. ;)

The only thing I can figure out as being behind his initial attack of insanity is the age difference--he's also 20. It's not like I'm hideously ugly, or come across as trashy in any way--or anything else of the sort. Chowderhead certainly didn't seem to be bothered by being seen with me where his housemates were unlikely to be. (My mother actually suggested this explanation, FWIW.) Save us from nasty, narrow-minded people. Still, this potential for nastiness was better discovered early on. *wry smile*
