That little Mirrors really is too curious for his own good. A little while ago, when I was putting a chicken in, he made frighteningly good progress toward creeping into the (preheated) oven--got his head and both front paws in before I could grab him. That didn't seem to bother him--or his pads--a bit; he just made another go at it when I opened the door to tent neglected foil over the top of the bird.

Can't say I've ever seen a cat attempt to crawl into a lit oven before, thank goodness.
