Be glad you're not here

This evening, in particular, has been delightful. All the humans in the house are sick (still the Evil Airplane Flu), and have gone beyond irritable-from-shot-nerves into just plain truculent. I believe the last bellowing (interesting with raspy voices) argument was over someone moving the milk to a slightly different spot in the refrigerator. I might well burst into flames if I claimed to be exempt, mind. Even one of the cats has gotten in on the act, serving for the past six or seven hours as a large, bloblike doorstop and glaring at anyone who dares try to squeeze past into the bathroom.

With any luck, people will go to sleep and be quiet before long. Myself included.

It's Friday night, and I'm idly worrying about supporting documents for a visa application. This is disturbing and wrong.

Edit: Oh yes, and via gwferguson, Mojo Nixon is retiring. While not too surprising, this is also strangely disturbing.
