Birthday fun

vatine was off work just-barely-yesterday, since it was his birthday. Coincidentally, he'd also scheduled a Cisco exam for the same day, but it was in easy walking distance so only took a couple of hours overall. Unfortunately, he didn't pass this time around, though it was apparently close.

He'd hoped to go into Central London, but I wasn't up to it. He even tried to lure Crazy Fish Lady with the prospect of going back to the Aquarium. *g* That was sweet, since I seriously doubt it was his first choice of destinations. I still feel kind of bad about having to give the outing a pass, but there are only so many spoons to go around. :-|

Instead, I used rather a lot up cleaning the bedroom goldfish tank. Ah well! He did kinda have me pegged there.

We settled for a trip to Cosmo for supper (hmm, I didn't know they were pushing "stunning design" too). It was satisfying, as usual, to the point I'm surprised I'm starting to get hungry again now.

No cake and ice cream other than that the restaurant, but I brought him a chocolate with a candle stuck in it after we got home. :) Hopefully it wasn't too bad a birthday.
