Reminds me of one time I went to do laundry recently:
Get clothes together in hamper. Bring hamper to laundry room. Realize you've forgotten to bring detergent and softener. Go back to apartment and grab them. Get to laundry room, realize you grabbed 2 containers of softener and no detergent. Go back to apartment and swap out one of the bottles. Go back to laundry room and start laundry.
And then there are all the times I totally forget to pack something I need outside the house, but I can't exactly go back and get it because I'd miss the one bus an hour that runs to that part of town if I did...
