Thanks! I was still not sure if posting this was useful in any way, but if people don't talk about the minority of medical personnel who think it's OK to treat people they perceive as having certain disabilities like crap, it'll stay easier to ignore.

Like I said in another reply, I feel lucky compared to people who come across as "low-functioning" or "crazy" more regularly. :( And a lot of them have no effective way of complaining, much less people who want to hear about it. This stuff has got to stop.
