Yeah. I guess it's handy to set up situations where you are always right, the other person is always wrong, and you can convince yourself that the threats don't even qualify as threats because you're only concerned about the other person's wellbeing. Erm, yeah. I really do wish things were not set up so that this does look like a very practical winning strategy if you want to tell someone else what to do (and pretend that this is not your goal). Sorry you got to deal with that tactic, too.
